Atombeam Neurpac + SIMSY
The same data, in far fewer bytes. Neurpac compacts sensor and mission payloads by up to 75% on the device before they hit the network, so SIMSY cellular carries high-rate workloads that would otherwise need a leased line.
Up to 75% fewer bytes
Neurpac compacts sensor, telemetry and mission data by up to 75% — four times the effective bandwidth over the same link.
Lossless and bit-perfect
The original data is reconstructed exactly. Suitable for safety-critical, audit-logged and model-training workloads.
~0ms added latency
Compaction and reconstruction add essentially no delay — real-time control and telemetry stay real-time.
Software-only, runs at the edge
No new hardware. The Neurpac Agent runs on your existing on-device compute, with a small SWaP footprint.
Data-as-Codewords, built for machine data
Neurpac's Data-as-Codewords architecture replaces recurring patterns in a data stream with short codewords, trained once on the shape of your data and applied inline. Unlike general-purpose compression, it is engineered for machine-generated data — continuous, high-frequency, structured streams from sensors, payloads and control systems — and consistently outperforms conventional algorithms on that profile.
Neurpac is protected by 197+ patents and has been validated at U.S. Department of Defense Technology Readiness Level 6 in operational environments. It is effective on messages as small as 8 bytes, which is where traditional compression gives up — exactly the range that telemetry and command-and-control traffic lives in.
High-rate telemetry on a cellular budget
SIMSY delivers private, globally-roaming cellular with real-time control over addressing, routing and policy. Neurpac delivers the data-rate reduction that lets high-fidelity sensor workloads actually run across it. Together they open up applications — drones, mobile robotics, LiDAR mapping, dense industrial sensing — that previously had to accept lossy downsampling, delayed offload, or expensive fixed-line connectivity to work at all.
Agent at the edge, Controller at the centre
The Neurpac Agent runs on the device alongside your existing software — no changes to sensors, payloads or application code. Outbound sensor and mission data is encoded into codewords, which travel over the SIMSY SIM to your endpoint. The Neurpac Controller, deployed at your operations centre, data centre or cloud, decodes the stream back to its full-fidelity original and coordinates the agents across the fleet.
Because intercepted codewords are meaningless without the matching codebook, Neurpac provides inherent data obfuscation on top of any encryption SIMSY already provides on the private cellular path. The combined effect is less data, lower cost, and a harder target for eavesdroppers.
Where this fits
Drones
Line-of-sight radio, cellular at the edge of coverage, satellite BVLOS — all three are limited by data rate, cost, or both. Neurpac shrinks the stream so more useful mission data gets through on the same link.
Robotics
Mobile robots capturing camera, LiDAR and telemetry on the move. Compact on the robot, forward the compacted bytes over SIMSY, decode at the operations centre with full fidelity.
IoT
Dense sensor fleets where every extra byte multiplies across thousands of endpoints. Fewer bytes per device, fewer bytes on the air, lower cellular spend across the estate.
Edge Compute
Edge nodes running local inference still need to ship training signal and audit data upstream. Neurpac keeps that pipe thin without compromising fidelity for the model later.
LiDAR
Point-cloud data from mobile and fixed scanners is heavy by nature. Neurpac compacts frames on-device so cellular carries workloads that would otherwise need a leased line or on-site collection.
Utilities
Substations, meter concentrators, pipeline sensors and grid-edge monitors spread across whole regions, often in marginal cellular coverage. Compacting data at each endpoint lets a single SIMSY SIM carry telemetry that would otherwise need engineering truck rolls or fixed backhaul.
